Many answers can be found throughout the pages linked above, but we’ve included some quick answers here to help make the process of receiving your award as smooth as possible.

How long do I have to accept my scholarship award?

Scholars must complete the award acceptance form within 10 business days of receiving their scholarship notification. Failure to submit the form within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the award. 

When should I upload my enrollment documents?

Enrollment documents should be submitted after the 5th day of classes of each semester of your award cycle. This helps ensure your course schedule reflects your finalized enrollment after the add/drop period. 

Will my scholarship be paid in one disbursement?

No. The FGN scholarship is distributed in two disbursements. Disbursements are split over two semesters.

How will my scholarship funds be delivered?

Scholarship funds are issued directly to the scholar via check and mailed to the address provided in the scholarship forms.

Please ensure the mailing address you provide is accessible during the academic term.

How do I receive the second disbursement?

The second disbursement is issued after verification of spring semester enrollment and confirmation that the scholar is maintaining satisfactory academic progress according to their institution’s standards.
